Very basic but beautiful dress form is perfect for displaying dresses, suits, pants and pretty much all clothing. This dress form will also work for basic sewing. The actual torso is made of fiberglass and is covered with material and foam. This unit displays dresses and slacks With the added technique underneath the torso you can screw the stand to the side and display slacks or you can screw it on the middle for skirts.

Better than expected

Having read the reviews on here, and considering the low price point, I really wasn't expecting much. As long as it was usable, I would have been satisfied. However, I have been pleasantly surprised all around. The package arrived within a couple of days, and the dress form is really quite nice. The wood pieces are glossy, the ribbon at the waist is decent quality--both were things I thought might look cheap, but they don't. It does have a formaldehyde smell so I haven't used it yet, but once it airs out, I will be photographing my eBay and Etsy pieces using this form. The seller also sent a nice note in case anything needed to be worked out before I left feedback. I would buy from them again.

This is what I was looking for a great price and fair quality. I wanted to display my daughters wedding dress for the family to see. Not sure what I am going to do with it after the wedding, but it looks great now!! Amazon had it to me in just a few days.

Good for intended purposes

This dress form is great & works perfect for my niece. It's not super sturdy, so if you are looking for something to use professionally you might want something a little more heavy weight. Otherwise, it's great. The shipping took way longer than the 3-5 days promised at purchase but that really has nothing to do with the overall product.
